The newest paddle we will be adding to our lineup in the next few months will be the CoreTek Delta ∆! Based on our customer experience weight reduction has been one of our number one goals. To this end the Delta will be utilizing an elongated body with a 13 mm polycarbonate honeycomb core filled with our proprietary foam. Polycarbonate is a new material as far as honeycombs go and basically indestructible. We have found that it plays almost identically to polypropylene with maybe a slight bit of the Omega's unique feel.

In terms of feel we would say that this paddle feels incredibly stable for a 13 mm and that this material brings a lot to the table in terms of feel and power. We will also be utilizing a unique molded grid surface which is composed of a durable in molded texture. Finally we are taking pains to construct the handle in a less square shape and use this part of the paddle as an opportunity to balance and offset weight. This paddle averages 7.9 Oz but in general our feedback has been that it feels much lighter. Anyone who has played with a nomex paddle will be familiar with this effect due to the different material density.

This paddle is currently in testing and we hope to be able to utilize some additional technologies before we go into mass production! The CoreTek Delta uses a unique multistep molding process, PC cells, and our unique foam injected construction!
