CoreTek Pickleball has only been in business for 5 months but has had great success and has experience in the pickleball industry going back for about 3 years, most of it overseas. Due to the recent events and the fact that the removal of recent paddles from the list of approved paddles rings completely derivative of the situation with CRBN in 2022.
During this shameful fiasco another companies paddles were acted against on the basis of no science leading to meaningless regulation of coefficient of friction and possibly unnecessary damage to said company.
Because we see the interests of pro pickleball testing and large companies converging in paddle regulation we will not be submitting paddles to the usap anymore. We will continue to build paddles that are tested and approves to USAP specs as of this date. We will continue to consider the USAP as a source for guidance but do not consider it's safe to do business with them and would not recommend other new businesses in this industry do business with them either or send them anything that might be considered IP. We will be making these regions clear over the next few days.
We also believe that true manufacturers the people who make our paddles and players the people who play with them need to be included in the process more. Having meetings at 9:00 a.m. on a Monday about very important elements is not fair and when it does not include people who actually make the paddles it is extremely unfair. We take extreme issue with this as it decouples the people that actually put the thought behind making these paddles from the actual process of making them.
We also suggest that companies, players, and manufacturers become more involved and give greater franchise to players in manufacturers in setting the future of paddles.

Yes! Both of our paddles are approved and on the usap list of approved paddles. They can be used in any tournament where usap paddles are allowed.
Are the alpha paddles still USAPA approved? Can I use them in tournaments?
