With the USAP involved in serious drama which makes them not worthy of current trust the UPA has been billed as an alternative. This organization will only serve established manufacturers and those large enough to pay their extreme fees of $100,000 per year. Compared to the current fees that manufacturers pay it's easy to see that the UPA is going to be a very selective bunch.
Because this environment manufacturers looking for fairness and transparency have formed the Pickleball Paddle Partnership. This group is open to anyone and is a great idea. We should be pooling our resources and not waiting on organizations that clearly do not have our interests in mind to make decisions.
