Power and Mass

As we previously shown have PBCoR makes no attempt to solve or cap ball speed. By its very nature it is not meant to do this. There are far better metrics to control ball energy and if PBCoR is used under this guise the USAP is insane,

Mass is the ghost here that is dictating power. Remember, as we previously derived natural frequency is probably the most universal metric of paddle performance. Essentially, anyone who does a bit of analysis will realize that mass is what's changing in paddles, not elastics.

Pros are allowed to distribute mass without any limits. Adding lead tape will alter a paddles natural frequency, CoR, and power. So the ball speed problem either isn't a problem or isn't one that's going to be solved soon...

PBCoR intentionally ignores mass and focuses on a secondary metric. The USAP is either incompetent or biasing the market towards established brands via regulation. Let players put mass on there paddles where it's most effective, throughout the face.
