CoreTek began with experience making a variety of conventional paddles with many respected manufacturers. Originally we wanted to produce some cheap EVA foam paddles and ended up producing our own designs. Original design was a foam sandwich core which is quite interesting and we may follow up on but ultimately performed less well than our current designs.
From there we moved on to our current designs which are our foam injected cell technology.
Our main goal has always been to provide excellent feel and control as these are the most desirable things of any paddle. I'm actually a proud of where we've come considering we started with 200 paddes in January and we've done the ourselves. We have many other new interesting innovations we hope to be able to bring about.
Our paddles are the effort of not just us but local testers and businesses. We bring experience in chemistry, materials science, and medicine to make paddles that are a lot of fun to play with.
