This test assumes elasticity literally a perfectly elastic collision i e a perfectly round ball is used. This test will effectively introduce major bias against paddles that use mass intelligently. The status quo will be the standard. The speed will not be controlled. As it's fine to deploy infinite mass as long as it's in stupid places.

Our paddles are certified for all levels of play. Simply put foam mass in cores cannot coexist with hollow core paddles. Foam paddles play better in almost all aspects but mass so they cannot be allowed in the current uncompetitive environment. It has nothing to do with science or spirit of game. Well, economics is a science.
